Care unit manager for IVA Värnamo: "We need more staff - now"

At IVA in Värnamo, there are currently two covid-IVA places.

For the past three weeks, there have been two patients there, which means that the staff already have to take extra care.

- We need information about more staff now.

If the staff continues to take extra shifts, it will wear them down.

And that before we are in a larger peak, says Eva-Maj Bengtsson, care unit manager, IVA Värnamo.

The region is planning for how an expansion will take place.

- We are currently looking at staffing together with managers and trade unions, says Mats Bojestig, director of health and medical care.
