Recently, a teacher who showed a cartoon caricature of the Islamic prophet Muhammad in France was brutally murdered, and it spread to a conflict between Europe and Islam.

The French government sees it as a terrorist attack by Islamic extremists.

Local time This morning inside the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Nice, a seaside city in southern France, a man wield a weapon and killed three people, including the cathedral's keeper.



One of them was beheaded.



The killer was shot by police at the scene and taken to the hospital.



The Mayor of Estrogi Nice said he continued to shout "God is great" in Arabic after the criminal was arrested by the police.



The French counter-terrorism prosecutor's office saw that there was a link to terrorism and immediately began an investigation.



The beheading attack occurred less than two weeks after a middle school teacher who taught freedom of expression was beheaded by a teenager.



Since then, French President Macron and Turkish President Erdogan fought over this, leading to a conflict between religions and civilizations.



In 2016, Nice suffered a catastrophe in which 86 people were killed in a truck attack.
