State of alarm: The PP does not manage to agree with the partners of the Government and asks that Sánchez appear every 15 days
The PP is against the six-month state of alarm that Pedro Sánchez has raised, but believes that drastic measures must be taken until ordinary legislation is reformed so that the autonomies can confine and restrict mobility.
So, in the absence of an agreement, the Genoa leadership has decided to abstain in the vote to endorse the extension of the state of alarm today in the Congress of Deputies.

The reason given by Genoa for the abstention is simple: "The PP cannot oppose a framework of urgent action against the pandemic after months of abandonment by the Government, but it cannot support the lack of parliamentary and judicial control for six months as proposed by Sánchez, nor the economic and psychological damage for the Spanish ".
This Wednesday, the Government has neutralized Casado's attempt to agree with ERC, Más País and the rest of the parliamentary partners of the coalition Executive.
To stop the offensive of the PP, Sánchez has agreed to appear every two months, but without voting on the extension again.
