, meeting this Wednesday in an extraordinary way, has called on the Government and the Popular Party to renew the institution whose mandate expired in December 2018. By thirteen votes, the members have approved a consensual text, to which EL MUNDO has had access, where the following is stated: "The Plenary of the Council wants to express that the pending institutional renewal must be carried out as soon as possible, thus contributing to full constitutional normality" .

The Plenary rejected the proposal that a group of seven members of the conservative sector managed to submit to deliberation evaluating the proposal to reform the Council registered in Congress by the PSOE and United We Can.

In it, it was criticized that the reform of the Government of Pedro Sánchez on the system of election of the members of judicial turn for being "contrary to our Constitution and to the standards established within the Council of Europe and the European Union."

The Plenary opted for this formula, considering by majority that it was not necessary to make an "express demonstration" on the bill promoted by Sánchez or on that of any other parliamentary group.
