When the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series in 32 years, excited citizens were arrested by the police for looting, vandalizing public property, and arson.

Local newspapers reported that LA police arrested eight people on charges of looting and assaulting police officers at a street event celebrating the Dodgers victory.

The city of Los Angeles and the police asked to refrain from celebrating the streets on the night of the day before the Dodgers victory was confirmed (the 27th) due to the spread of coronavirus, but many citizens who ignored this were poured into the streets.
