Stéphane Bahoken, attacker of the SCO d'Angers (Ligue 1), was taken into custody Tuesday for violence, insults and threats against his companion, we learned from the public prosecutor of Angers.

"Police custody is underway for threats and domestic violence in a context of separation," said the public prosecutor, Eric Bouillard.

Bahoken admits the facts

The 28-year-old attacker is suspected of pushing, insults and threats against his partner, with whom he has a child, during confinement and during the month of October, the prosecution said .

The victim was prescribed a one-day ITT.

The footballer, who admitted the facts, is to be presented to the public prosecutor on Wednesday and should be tried as part of an appearance procedure on prior admission of guilt (CRPC, plead guilty), added the prosecution.

In August, Stéphane Bahoken had committed a traffic violation while crossing a white line and got angry with a motorist, who turned out to be a police officer who was not on duty.

He was summoned for these facts on December 3 to be tried, also in the CRPC.
