Pompeo had telephone conversations with Aliyev and Pashinyan

"Secretary of State Pompeo demanded that the leaders fulfill their commitments to end hostilities and find a diplomatic solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs," State Department spokesman Morgan Ortagus said in a statement.

As Pompeo emphasized, there is no military solution to this conflict.

Earlier, Pashinyan said that Armenia is ready for "mutual concessions" to resolve the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, but will never be ready to capitulate.

At the same time, as the President of Azerbaijan noted, a ceasefire in Karabakh and normalization of relations with Armenia are possible after the complete withdrawal of Armenian forces from the region.
