Despite several negotiations between the warring parties, the violent fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh region is still ongoing.

On Monday, a third agreed ceasefire was broken after just one hour.

The parties blame the development on each other and also accuse each other of war crimes.

A large number of civilians have been killed and injured during the conflict.

On Tuesday, Nagorno-Karabakh authorities said their military death toll had risen to 1,009.

Azerbaijan has kept its death toll a secret since the beginning of the conflict.
