Abu Dhabi Police called upon parents to urge their children who use motorcycles to drive safely, abide by safety conditions, especially when used on land, and not drive recklessly to avoid accidents.

And it called on motorcycle users to be careful not to use them negatively, or show off, causing inconvenience to others.

It stated that the most prominent causes of motorcycle accidents are excessive speed, failure to adhere to security and safety requirements and driving recklessly, advising its users to wear a helmet to protect the head, to wear clothing designated for riding bicycles, to ensure the safety of the bike and the validity of the front and rear lights and tires, and to provide a first aid box.
