Ali Riza Polat, the main accused at the trial of the January 2015 attacks, again denied Monday before the special Assize Court in Paris any "complicity" in the terrorist attacks, believing to be a "scapegoat".

During the trial of the January 2015 attacks which has been held since September, he is the only accused presented on trial for "complicity in terrorist crimes", punishable by life imprisonment.

"You absolutely want a culprit, but it will not be me!", He launched Monday in front of the special court of assizes of Paris.

He claims to have "provided no weapon"

Ali Riza Polat is suspected of having been the "right arm" of Amédy Coulibaly, one of his "friends", and of having sought and supplied weapons to the killer of the Hyper Cacher, but also to the brothers Saïd and Chérif Kouachi.

"I do not understand. I did all this without knowing the Kouachi brothers, without leaving an imprint, a DNA trace?", Got annoyed the accused talker of 35 years, shaved head and white shirt, from the beginning of his examination.

Outbursts of anger and untimely speeches

Fourteen people, including three in absentia, are on trial for their alleged logistical support to the perpetrators of the attacks, which left 17 dead.

Most of Ali Riza Polat's co-defendants appear for criminal conspiracy in connection with a terrorist enterprise, a crime punishable by twenty years of imprisonment.

The verdict is expected on November 13.
