SVT Nyheter has previously reported on a case in Härnösand, where a woman alerted the police early, but had time to be raped and see her friend murdered.

It took an hour and a half before the police arrived at the scene.

In the wake of this, police researcher Stefan Holgersson is sharply critical of the police's alarm organization.

- They have organized in a more expensive and worse way, he says.

Jonas Hysing, who is head of the police's national contact unit, opposes the criticism.

He believes that proximity to citizens and local knowledge is maintained through the municipal police.
