Schools have closed and thousands of children and young people have a whole week to fill - well, what then?
The autumn holidays, or reading holidays as they are also called, are well suited for a good book, but when the brain is tired, a break can be welcome.
Then there are a number of opportunities for children and adults to come up with something fun in the city.
Ghost hunt on Junibacken
Those who are eager to raise their heart rate can go to Djurgården and Junibacken, where a bunch of ghosts are hiding.
Every child who helps to find everyone gets a small gift.
The creative also gets a chance to make their own ghost to take home.
Halloween in the museum's corridors
If you can not get enough of weirdness, a hot tip is to go to the Nordic Museum during the holidays.
Here you can listen to ghost stories, solve tricky tasks and create your own Halloween decorations.
If you are really adventurous, you can walk through a dark museum where plagues ravage ...
Try 18th-century clothes and browse old comic books
At the City Museum, you can botanize among lots of exciting activities.
Here you can sit down and browse through old comic books: Agent X9, Starlet, Tarzan and old fashioned Kalle Anka.
As fun for the kids as for the adult nostalgics.
If you want to move further back in time, you can try on clothes from the 17th and 18th centuries to perform on the theater stage.
And on Tuesday there is the chance to accompany Jack and his friends, from the popular children's books, on a magical tour around the Old Town.
A journey through ABBA's career
The museum, which is one hundred percent dedicated to ABBA, is open throughout the autumn holidays.
Here you can see the story of the pop group in the museum's cinema, or learn about the band in the children's quiz.
All participating children receive a prize from the shop.
Try ringette - on rink with ring
Ringette can most easily be described as ice hockey, but with a stick instead of a club and a ring instead of a puck.
During the autumn holidays, curious winter athletes can try the fast-paced sport at Ulriksdals IP in Solna.
Some equipment is available to borrow, but bring skates, helmet and gloves.
Konstkollo in Tensta
Tensta Art Gallery arranges art classes with activities for children and young people between 12-15 years during the autumn holidays.
Among other things, the children will be able to work based on Åke Hodell's various works.
