Tottenham went to win a precious victory at the poorly classified Burnley (1-0) on Monday at the end of the 6th day of the Premier League, thanks to the inevitable duo Harry Kane-Son-Heung min.

It took 75 minutes to see a shot on target from Spurs, after 4 off target, but, luckily for the Londoners, it was enough for their happiness.

On an outgoing corner from the right, Harry Kane superbly and very intelligently delivered a header to the far post which was cut by Son, for the only goal of the match (1-0, 76th).

Since they joined, it was the 29th they combined on a goal, which places the doublet at the same level as the famous tandems that are Robert Pirès and Thierry Henry or David Silva and Sergio Agüero, but still behind Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba (36).

Harry Kane, who keeps getting better at 27, has even increased his decisive character even further by adding to his 10 goals and 9 assists in 10 games since the start of the season a header save on the line which was a turning point in the match, 5 minutes before the opening goal.

In the standings, this success allows Tottenham to move up to 5th place with 11 points, 2 lengths behind leader Everton, in a very tight Premier League since only three points separate the leader from 9th, Wolverhampton.

This result, however, leaves Burnley, who has only one unit after 5 games played - his first day match against Manchester United has been postponed - in a sad 18th place.

A cruel observation for the men of Sean Dyche, who had been much more enterprising until the goal with 12 shots including 4 on target.

Earlier in the evening, West Bromwich Abion had fetched his third point of the season by equalizing late thanks to Karlan Grant in Brighton (1-1, 83rd), after Jae Livermore gave the advantage to the Seagulls 5 minutes before the break, by scoring against his camp.

The two teams follow each other in the standings, Brighton being 16th with 5 points, two lengths ahead of WBA.
