Two people were in the car, the 86-year-old driver and her 71-year-old female passenger.
The octogenarian was in cardiac arrest when the firefighters arrived.
The latter were able to revive her, and transported her in "very serious" condition to the Haut-Lévêque hospital center.
The septuagenarian was injured without seriousness, and transported to CHU Pellegrin.
The driver of the train was slightly injured

The driver of the tram train, a 46-year-old man, was slightly injured and transported to the Quatre-Pavillons clinic.
There were about 70 people in the train, which was evacuated.
Road and tram traffic were interrupted until around 1 p.m.
