On the 25th, the Chinese Medical Doctor Association launched a popular science activity on chronic disease nutrition and health for middle-aged and elderly people in Beijing. The activity plans to complete the creation and dissemination of 200 chronic disease nutrition science videos within 2 years, and at the same time through the TV platform Disseminate chronic disease nutrition and health knowledge to the elderly.

  According to reports, the activity is guided by the "Healthy China" development strategy, in accordance with the requirements of the State Council’s "Healthy China 2030" Planning Outline, National Nutrition Plan (2017-2030), and Healthy China Action (2019-2030).   At the meeting, Guo Shubin introduced the background, significance, project content and future promotion plans of the middle-aged and elderly chronic disease nutrition and health science activities.

  "We expect to complete the creation and dissemination of 200 chronic disease nutrition science videos within 2 years, and at the same time disseminate chronic disease nutrition and health knowledge to the elderly through the TV platform, and help the public establish a scientific and rational health concept." Guo Shubin said.

  Guo Shubin introduced that the event will also carry out 100 grassroots community health staff science popularization salons to exchange and share good experiences and good practices in the creation and dissemination of health science popularization, and to enhance the science popularization capabilities of grassroots medical staff and rural doctors.

At the same time, it will enter the community to carry out chronic disease nutrition science lectures for the people, and it will take 2 years to complete 400,000 offline nutrition and health science education and 2 million online nutrition and health science lectures.
