About half as many as in previous years got the chance to write the university entrance exam at Mälardalen University on Sunday.

The university entrance exam was written in three places in Sörmland - Eskilstuna, Nyköping and Katrineholm - and only first-time writers got the chance.

Difficult to sign up

There was also some technical trouble when the test writers had to register.

- There were 55,000 people in front of me and the queue did not move, says test writer Tessa Findén.

A total of 1,201 people had signed up to write the university entrance examination under the auspices of Mälardalen University in both Sörmland and Västmanland.

339 people had signed up for the test in Eskilstuna.

In Sörmland, you could also participate in the test writing in Nyköping and Katrineholm.

The number of applicants was 187 and 89, respectively, according to the University and College Council.
