The Government has approved a new decree law to contain the spread of the coronavirus that comes into force this afternoon.

The rule, explained by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, in a press conference, will impose a national night curfew from 23:00 to 6:00, although it can be modulated by the autonomies, advancing or delaying it one hour, both at night like in the morning.

The Government's objective is for this situation to

be prolonged by the Cortes Generales for six months, until May 9.

The declaration of the state of alarm grants the regional presidents to be the delegated authority in their territories and will allow the Autonomous Communities to totally or partially confine their territories.

GALICIA

After the perimeter confinement that the Xunta decreed in Orense and Barbadás on October 8, when the highest incidence rate of the coronavirus in Galicia was recorded in this area, the General Directorate of Public Health of the Ministry of Health announced this Tuesday -20 October, the establishment of level 2 limitations throughout Galicia, which will affect the occupation of public and private spaces.

Only non-cohabitant meetings with a maximum of five people are allowed.

Likewise, the Xunta de Galicia recommends that "people over 75 years of age, people vulnerable to Covid-19 and those who have some type of disease or respiratory difficulty that may be aggravated by the use of the mask that they avoid in their activity daily departures at times of foreseeable influx or concentration of people on public roads and in spaces or establishments open to the public, in order to reduce the risks derived from the coincidence with other people ".

In addition, the closure of the activities of parties, festivals and other popular events, as well as the attractions of fairs, is agreed during the period that these measures last.

ASTURIAS

For its part, the Principality of Asturias has established the perimeter closure until November 6 of Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés from 00 hours this Saturday.

Only work exceptions, assistance to education, return to habitual residence, care for the elderly or urgent activities are contemplated.

In addition, gambling and betting venues must close at 11:00 p.m. as will the hospitality industry, and retailers at 10:00 p.m.

Sports competitions will be without public.

CANTABRIA

Social gatherings of friends and family are limited to groups of a maximum of 10 people, except those with stable coexistence. The closure of the hotel and restaurant establishments has been set at 11:00 p.m., with the prohibition of admitting new customers from from 22.00.

In these places the capacity is limited to 50% inside, the number of people who can share a table is reduced to six, and smoking is prohibited on the terraces, which may maintain a capacity of 75%.

The capacity in commercial premises is also reduced by half;

in wakes, burials and funeral ceremonies;

in bingo halls, casinos, recreational and gaming establishments and specific and betting venues, with a maximum occupancy of six people per table and with a distance of two meters between the chairs and the different tables.

BASQUE COUNTRY

Since this Friday, the Basque Government has limited mobility in 25 Basque municipalities -20 of them located in Guipúzcoa and five more in Vizcaya-, registering an accumulated incidence of more than 500 Covid-19 infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.

In addition, the Basque Executive has reduced capacity to 50% of its capacity in hotels, cultural shows and religious events, and recommends that the meetings be a maximum of six people, "appealing to the individual and collective responsibility of the population."

NAVARRE

In Navarra, movements to the perimeter of the Autonomous Community are limited from Thursday, with exceptions of health, labor, teaching and force majeure until 24:00 on November 4.

In addition, the total closure of hotel and restaurant establishments, bingo halls, games and recreational rooms is decreed;

the closing of shops and service and leisure spaces is brought forward at 9:00 p.m.

CATALONIA

In addition to the closure of bars and restaurants except for food delivery, the Generalitat has decreed the closure of shops 24 hours a day from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Likewise, the capacity of shops and street markets is reduced to 30% and the capacity of gyms to 50%.

The capacity for cultural events is also limited to 50%.

Attendees must always be seated and have a pre-assigned seat, and fairs and congresses, as well as major festivals, are suspended.

The Government has asked that trips outside the home be reduced to the maximum, as well as social contacts (meetings with friends, weekend outings) and promotes teleworking.

ARAGON

Aragon has been at alert level 2 since last October 19. This implies a series of limitations that the hotel and catering establishments must close at 23:00, except for carrying out tasks related to food delivery services to home.

Its maximum capacity will be 50% both inside the premises and on the terraces and consumption will always be at the table.

In addition, it prohibits all nightlife activities and the sale of alcohol between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Social gatherings are limited to a maximum of six people except in the case of cohabiting people.

VALENCIAN COMMUNITY

You already have a nightly curfew in place from midnight to six in the morning.

Other restrictions are added to the night confinement, such as the limitation of meetings to a maximum of six people, except cohabitants, and the recommendation to the public to postpone any meeting that is not essential.

Gardens and other open-air spaces close their doors at 10 p.m. and do not open until 8 a.m., the same time in which the sale of alcohol is prohibited, except in the hotel trade.

For their part, bars and restaurants already close at midnight and orders can only be placed up to an hour before.

MURCIA

In Murcia, the restrictions go by neighborhoods and municipalities.

Those of Beniel, Santomera, Fuente Álamo, Molina de Segura, Cieza or Archena have joined the territories of Alhama de Murcia and Ceutí that already had a capacity limitation of 40% inside the premises and the closure of shops in food and drinks from 22.00 to 6.00 in the morning.

Three neighborhoods that had restrictions in the city of Murcia, Barriomar-La Purísima, Buenos Aire and El Carmen, will continue for another week with these limitations that mainly affect the capacity of bars and restaurants, and now El Infante, Vistabella are added. , San Andrés and the districts of Nonduermas, La Ñora and Puente Tocinos.

ANDALUSIA

The bars and restaurants of Seville, Córdoba and Jaén must close from today at 10:00 p.m., some establishments where the capacity is limited to 50 percent and to six people the number of members of the groups that may meet, according to the order of the Ministry of Health published in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA).

The Governing Council on October 22 decided that the order of October 14 applies to these three capitals, by which all establishments, commercial premises and services open to the public cannot exceed 50% of the allowed capacity or close beyond 10:00 p.m., with the exception of pharmaceutical, medical, veterinary, fuel and other establishments considered essential.

These measures will be in force for the next 14 days and are similar to those that are already being applied in Granada and in its metropolitan area, the most affected in Andalusia.

The restrictions also affect 13 other Andalusian municipalities such as Los Gallardos (Almería), Baeza and Quesada (Jaén) and Estepa, Lora de Estepa, Gilena, Marinaleda, Herrera, La Roda de Andalucía, Badolatosa, Utrera, Castillo de las Guardas and Pedrera, in the province of Seville.

CASTILLA LA MANCHA

The five provinces of Castilla-La Mancha have different restrictions to control the coronavirus.

CASTILLA AND LEÓN

The first curfew introduced in Spain by the pandemic opened this Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. except for health and labor reasons, among others force majeure.

THE RIOJA

ESTREMADURA

From this midnight the free entry and exit of people in these localities is restricted.

BALEARICS

Since this Saturday, bars and restaurants can no longer serve their customers in the bars, social and family gatherings can only accommodate a maximum of six people, and at masses and liturgical acts the list of attendees is shortened and it is recommended not sing.

CANARY ISLANDS

The night curfew that affects the entire territory from this afternoon presents an exception: the Canary Islands, due to its favorable epidemiological situation.

However, the Canarian Government does not relax.

Therefore, there will continue to be restrictions on Tenerife, the island most affected by Covid-19 at the moment.

In this way, social gatherings with more than 10 people are still prohibited and bars and restaurants must close before midnight.

CEUTA

Capacity of 50% is established in the hotel industry abroad with the prohibition of using the bar and the closure is decreed at 00.00 hours.

Weddings can only have 25 guests if they are held indoors and 35 outside.

The capacity in religious temples will be 60% and 50% in commercial premises, closed at 10 pm, and large centers.

MELILLA

The autonomous city has decreed the total closure of cafes, bars, restaurants and nightclubs since October 18 for at least two weeks.

Weddings, baptisms and communions are also prohibited, as well as social and cultural events that were scheduled or will be scheduled.
