A student at a high school in Enköping was arrested last autumn inside the school.

He had two knives on him, a larger knife hidden on his body and a smaller knife in a pocket.

He had an iron pipe in his cupboard.

According to the prosecutor in the case, the student must have been a member of the Nazi Nordic Resistance Movement (NMR) and just before he was arrested he got into a fight with several people with an "immigrant background" and googled the statute of limitations for murder.

Rated as gross

Uppsala District Court did not think it was possible to prove that the student planned to attack anyone.

He was convicted of violating the Knife Prohibition Act.

But the prosecutor turned to the Supreme Court and wanted the crime to be considered serious.

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the prosecutor and this week sentenced the student to a serious violation of the Knife Prohibition Act.

The student has denied the crime.

He is sentenced to 35 hours of youth service due to his young age.
