“Dubai Municipality” closes 4 laundries and a fitness center

Dubai Municipality closed four new institutions, the day before yesterday, and violated five others, due to non-compliance with measures to confront the emerging corona virus, and 45 various institutions were warned.

The municipality indicated that the new closures included four laundries in the Al-Souq Al-Kabeer area in Dubai, and one fitness center in Al-Mankhool area.

Municipal statistics indicated that the percentage of commitment was, the day before yesterday, 81%, of the total 283 institutions visited.

She pointed out that the high level of compliance in most institutions reflected positively on the number of violations and daily closures, which reached in some days to zero.

And she stressed the need for all institutions to adhere to the precautionary measures and measures they have imposed to limit the spread of Coronavirus infection.

In addition, the field inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in the Dubai Economy violated, the day before yesterday, three establishments, including a textile and fabric trade facility, a consumer complex, and a general trade facility, in the Hamriyah and Sikkat Al-Khail areas.

The violations committed by the aforementioned activities were represented in failure to take the necessary measures to take into account the physical distance, while the number of places that meet the conditions and precautionary measures reached 147 places.
