A father and his two teenage sons have been charged with murder after another man was stabbed to death with 99 stab wounds on a local bus in Kiruna on July 15 this year.

But the indictment also contains two cases of abuse in court - threats that witnesses would not call the police and later provide information during questioning.

"Became very scared"

District Attorney Lindha Strömberg believes that one of the teenage sons urged a man to keep quiet about what he had seen while holding a knife visible in his hand.

- The witness was of course very scared after witnessing the incident in the bus A woman had already called the police, but she was so scared of the threat that she hung up, she says and continues:

- This is a crime that took place in front of the public, so there are many eyewitnesses to the act itself and to how the plaintiffs were chased into the bus.
