Two months before Christmas, the calendar scam is already starting in Toulouse

They are not late.

And this is perhaps what put the chip in the ears of the inhabitants.

Two men were arrested Wednesday evening by the Toulouse municipal police in the Roseraie district while they were going door to door.

Dressed in fluorescent yellow jackets, calendars under their arms, they passed themselves off to residents as employees of the bulky items service.

A scam that often takes place in December, a little less often in October.

The two false sellers, aged 31 and 33, were therefore spotted in the rue Rossignol by the real agents of the municipal police.

They had on them several tickets extorted from generous residents.

One of their victims still wanted to file a complaint against them.

This kind of calendar scam is commonplace.

You should know that the tour never starts before November and that the agents in principle have a professional card.
