"Svetlana emphasized that negotiations on new elections should begin in 2020 and new elections should also be scheduled before the end of the year," Tikhanovskaya said in a statement on the Telegram channel.
Earlier, Tikhanovskaya presented an ultimatum to the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
According to her, if the authorities do not fulfill the demands of the opposition by October 25, then a national strike will begin in Belarus on October 26.
