PAR (police, ambulance and rescue service) is a project that was tested in Botkyrka 2017 and which has since spread.

It is now being tried in the local police area Uppsala-Knivsta.

And to prevent crime prevention is the overall goal.

In one of the classrooms at Gottsundaskolan, the pupils in year 8 get to know the consequences of committing a crime if they are fifteen years old, and that the police actually carry real weapons.

During the lesson, the students also get to act in situations and discuss what problems the police face if they meet a person carrying a weapon, or something similar to a weapon.

Roje Shevan and Mery Shami both have great faith in the work of the police in Gottsunda.

If you were to give any advice to the police, what would you say?

- Continue to be in Gottsunda, it is safe when you are here, says Roje Shevan.

- It is important that we can meet young people, without anything having happened, says Jonas Jeffsell, municipal police in Knivsta municipality.

The schools Valsätraskolan, Thunmanskolan, Gottsundaskolan and Adolfsbergsskolan in Uppsala and Knivsta have been or will be visited by the police.

In the clip, you can see how the police show how an arrest is made.
