The man is convicted of aggravated assault on one of the men he stabbed in the back, as well as causing bodily injury to the other man on whom he cut two ligaments in his hand.

Because he was under the influence of drugs, he is also convicted of minor drug offenses.

It was on August 8 this year that several people gathered at a car meeting in Hälla.

Four of the people who were on site have been questioned in the investigation.

They say that the 27-year-old started arguing and shouting that he had a knife with him.

The quarrel degenerated when the 27-year-old took out the knife and shortly afterwards stabbed one of the men in the back.

A third man who intervened was also stabbed in the hand.

The 27-year-old then threw the knife and ran from the scene but was wrestled down by people who ran after him.

Then the police came and arrested him.

They also found the knife some distance away.

The man himself says that he remembers the quarrel but not that he should have stabbed anyone.

He also says that several people kicked him while he was lying on the ground.

DNA from the 27-year-old and the two men with knives were found on the knife.

In addition to the technical evidence, the court finds the witnesses credible.

Doctors who cared for one of the men for their injuries have also been questioned.

The 27-year-old man was convicted last December last year of aggravated theft, theft, fraud on eighteen occasions, assault in court, minor drug offenses on three occasions and violations of the law banning knives and other dangerous objects.

The man is also sentenced to pay damages to the affected men, SEK 27,499 to the man who was stabbed in the back and SEK 20,947 to the man who was stabbed in the hand.
