Nunzia Catalfo

Cig

. The intention is to finance a further intervention by Cig which could last about 10 weeks. "to give coverage until January.

"To these, we are considering linking a redundancy block".

The minister said this while speaking at the 2020 Labor Festival organized by the all-online job consultants due to anti-contagion restrictions.

Numerous guests were present - representatives of the Government, politics, institutions, the world of journalism and the social partners - and in general of qualified operators on the topics chosen from the title "Italy starts from work".

"To this we will connect another loan in budget law that will cover further weeks".

With the trade unions "there is an dialogue. There has been and will be in the next few hours and we will also evaluate their requests".

In this period there is "widespread use" of

smart working

"There was also a request from the social partners to update" the

safety protocols at work

"to strengthen them. Obviously the ministry has given its availability, it is not excluded that in the coming days we will be able to work on their strengthening".

The minister stressed the importance of these protocols which during the pandemic "have allowed us and continue to allow us to work and work safely. We will do all that will be necessary to continue to keep business open and safe", he assured.

"In the post-emergency period - he said - I believe we could intervene to strengthen it, to strengthen the right to disconnect, to think about co-working spaces. Surely there will be an intervention".

In maneuver?

"I don't think so", because - he remarked - "until January 31, as long as the state of emergency continues, we have simplified procedures".

fair compensation

"I intend to focus in the coming days to understand how and if it is applied and if there are difficulties".

The minister underlined that there are various bills including "

the bill presented by Senator Santillo

which intends to strengthen the legislation on fair compensation" and stressed the ministry's attention to the issue.

With regard to the

gender pay gap,

the Minister says that in the budget law "we will provide for a 100% tax reduction for three years for those who hire

unemployed women in the South

and for those who hire unemployed workers for at least 24 months throughout the country". "To encourage female employment and relaunch GDP, we are focusing on a series of actions to be financed with the resources of the Recovery Fund, including the strengthening of

childcare services for

reconciliation of times, the creation of training courses based on in particular with regard to stem disciplines, the strengthening of pay transparency tools to eliminate the wage gap between the sexes.
