Monday evening, a couple, living in La Baule left their home leaving their dog, a 6-year-old jack Russell, alone, in a fenced garden with the gate closed.

On his return, around 9:30 p.m., he discovered their domestic animal suffering from a wound ten centimeters deep in the neck, reports the weekly

The couple immediately went to a veterinarian on duty in Saint-Nazaire.

An operation is performed to try to save the dog.

The vet told the couple that within an inch the animal would have died.

He also specified, still according to the weekly, that the act had been carried out voluntarily, with a knife.

Complaint against X

The animal left the clinic, but its vital prognosis is still engaged.

The owner couple filed a complaint against X for animal abuse and act of cruelty at the La Baule police station.
