There was no traditional end with student lunch, mouse pick-up, prom or procession on the graduation day for the students at Wisbygymnasiet this summer.

This is due to the progress of the coronavirus.

"Unfortunately it will not be so"

The idea was that there would be a homecoming party during the holidays in December instead of compensation for the missed celebration.

But now it is also set.

-Unfortunately it will not be so.

We adapt to the current pandemic situation, with the restrictions that mean that no more than 50 people can meet at a public gathering.

We wish the students who took the student with us in June good luck in their professional lives and with further studies, says Karin Lekande, Deputy Principal at Wisbygymnasiet in a press release.

Planning for next year

At the same time, the management at the upper secondary school has already begun planning for next year's student - and then it is in mind that the restrictions may still remain.

- Both we and the students understand that the same restrictions may be relevant next year.

We follow the pandemic situation and plan for a few different scenarios depending on which infection control restrictions apply, says Karin Lekander.
