This Thursday, October 22, a meeting took place between the Guinean government and the diplomatic corps a few hours before the announcement of the provisional results.

A closed-door meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the end of which the head of diplomacy recalled that ECOWAS observers had welcomed the smooth conduct of the ballot.

According to the minister, it is the

declaration of Cellou Dalein Diallo

, proclaiming his victory, which is at the source of all the violence of recent days.

The opposition party UFDG published its own results on Wednesday, explaining that it had collected more than 84% of the polling station reports, thanks to a system of both SMS, minutes scans and a call center.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs talks about this software fallen from the sky and announces possible legal proceedings.

This Thursday, the HQ of the UFDG party in Conakry was still under surveillance, closed by a chain and a padlock.

Inaccessible areas, filtered entries ...

In the morning in Conakry, an important device of the mobile gendarmerie was visible at the Hamdallaye roundabout and at the crossroads at the entrance of this famous road Le Prince.

This is the axis around which the demonstrations have been concentrated in recent days.

Many residents, in certain neighborhoods, in Cosa, Bambeto, Sonfonia, claim to be stranded in their homes and explain that they cannot go out.

Several areas are inaccessible.

Most shops are closed in the Hamdallaye district, as far as downtown Kaloum, where entrances are filtered by the defense and security forces.

Tense atmosphere therefore, before the announcement of these full provisional results of the election by the Ceni.

For now, the Electoral Commission has released the figures for twenty constituencies out of thirty-eight in total.
