Social media platforms in Yemen circulated an influential video clip, of a mother receiving the certificate of her deceased son at a graduation ceremony that she paid at the Yemeni University of Ibb.

In the clip, the concert coordinator appears, uttering the name “Wael Al-Omari,” and asks who will represent him in receiving the certificate, so everyone is surprised by the rise of Wael's mother to the stage.

The interesting thing is that all of the students of the class went up to the podium to greet the mother and put on her javel, kissing her forehead, and assuring her that her son Wael had not died while he was still present in their hearts.

The clip was met with a very wide interaction, as many expressed their sympathy for the mother, and praised his colleagues who did not forget their colleague in the midst of their joy at their graduation.

Wael, a graduate of the Department of Management and Planning at Ibb University, died from an electric shock while attending the wedding of one of his colleagues on February 19 of this year.
