The French Government has extended this Thursday the curfew to another 38 departments of the country before the "serious" evolution of the epidemic, with which as of tomorrow, Friday there will be a total of 46 million people affected by that measure.
Of the 101 French departments, 54 citizens, plus those of French Polynesia, must be at home from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. unless they have compelling reasons to go out, such as work or health.
"Let's say things clearly. The situation is serious," French Prime Minister Jean Castex said in an appearance before the press, stressing that "the second wave" has already arrived and rapid progress is being observed in all European countries .
"The circulation of the virus is extremely high," he added.
