Dubai Roads launches a new bus route between Dubai and Sharjah
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority announced that it will launch on the 25th of this month a new public bus line (F81), which is one of the lines feeding to metro stations in the emirate, and it will open the Al Khan and Al Muzar links to use the designated bus lane to run the line (E303) to transport passengers between Dubai and Sharjah. The Commission will develop other lines on the same date.
In detail, the Director of Planning and Business Development Department at the Public Transport Corporation at the Roads and Transport Authority, Adel Shakeri, said: “The new line (F81), which is one of the lines feeding to metro stations, will start on the twenty-fifth of this October from Al-Qusais Industrial Area and will reach the Nahda metro station within a short time. Shakeri stressed that the opening of the bus route within the Al-Khan and Al-Mamzar links to run the line (E303), which operates between the Union Metro stations in Dubai and Jubail in Sharjah, will play a vital role in reducing the duration of the bus journey between the two emirates by about (15) minutes at peak times because this The line will use the route designated for buses in the two aforementioned connections, which will make daily commuting between Dubai and Sharjah smoother and more comfortable, noting that the authority has designated 10 double-decker buses to operate on this line.
