Construction equipment and materials were brought into the THAAD base in Seongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do during the day on the 22nd.

Residents sat across the only access road to Seongju Saad base.



The iron ladder Kankan stepped in and resisted the dissolution attempt, but the police pulled out the residents one by one and finally opened the road.



Around 2:00 p.m., two hours after the confrontation, all 31 vehicles, including dump trucks, entered the Saad base.




There was also a crash when the old THAAD equipment was replaced in May, but today it is not the THAAD equipment, but the materials and equipment to be used for the construction of auxiliary facilities, the Ministry of Defense explained.

However, residents protested that the facility construction itself would eventually be officially deployed even if it was not THAAD equipment. I did.



The joint statement of the ROK-US Security Council on the 14th, saying, "We will build a long-term plan to prepare the conditions for the stable stationing of the Saad battery in Seongju," demanded withdrawal, saying that this is evidence.
