22 October 2020It is controversy on social networks for a cartoon on the coronavirus posted by the national team coach, Roberto Mancini, in the stories of his Instagram profile.

In the cartoon we see a nurse asking a patient in the hospital: "Do you have any idea how you got sick?".

"Watching the news", the answer.

A cartoon that triggered the reaction of numerous users on social networks who did not like the position of the blue coach in such a difficult moment with regard to coronavirus infections in Italy.

Many on social media attacked the blue coach and rejected the post as an unfortunate exit and above all as an assist to the deniers on the subject of coronavirus. 





Mancini: "I did not want to be disrespectful"


"There was no implied message and no intention of disrespecting the patients and victims of covid-19, if so I apologize".

The coach of the Italian national football team, Roberto Mancini, entrusts his Twitter profile with a message to explain the sharing of a cartoon, this time on his Instagram profile, which had generated quite a few negative reactions on social networks.

Many have interpreted it as a criticism of alleged media alarmism related to the coronavirus pandemic.

An interpretation later denied by the coach: "I only shared a cartoon that seemed to me to play down such a complicated moment. That's all".
