On Tuesday, the Swedish Public Health Agency presented stricter advice for those staying in the county.

Among other things, it is about avoiding physical contact with people you do not live with.

At Friskis and Svettis in Uppsala, they immediately noticed a drop in visitors.

- This morning it was almost empty, then there are usually 100-150 people in the premises, says chairman Claes-Göran Bernbäck.

During a quick meeting, it was decided not to close down the business.

- We think that exercise is vital, not least in these times.

We are introducing measures and with them I think we should follow the Public Health Agency's guidelines, he says.

Autumn vacation awaits

Fyrishov will also tighten its measures.

- There will be more staff out on the premises to ensure that visitors keep their distance.

We will also lower the limit on the website's visitor barometer, that it requires fewer visitors for it to show yellow and red in terms of congestion, says coordinator Helena Lundevall.

- Next week is autumn break and then it is important to look at the visitor barometer.

We may pause activities, such as slides, to move visitors in the event of congestion.
