The woman alerted for help eight times in an hour and a half, but when the alarm reached the night patrol, it was too late.

The prosecutor is now investigating the incident as a misdemeanor.

- It is extremely sad what has happened and we are humble in the face of this situation and will take our responsibility fully, says Tunstall's CEO Johan Lenander to TV4.

Since it is the municipality that offers the service with security alarms, it can be Luleå municipality that is held accountable.

- We will see if it is a crime that has been committed at all and if there is reason to assume it.
