New details in the murder of a married couple in "The Ranches"

The Dubai Public Prosecution charged Sabbagh (an Asian) with deliberately killing an Indian businessman and his wife and attempting to kill their eldest daughter, stabbing her in the neck that almost killed her had she not been subjected to rapid aid.

The Public Prosecution referred the accused to the Criminal Court, confirming that he was the house of intent and determined to kill the victim and his family, who were led by circumstances in front of him during the theft of the house at night, and he remained lurking behind the trees, awaiting their sleep, and sneaked into the house, and when he was surprised when the head of the house woke up, he attacked him with a knife that he carried with him. The accused admitted during the investigations that he had bought the knife from a store close to his residence in another emirate, then he asked someone to deliver it to the villa, in the Arab Ranches area, on the 17th of last June and he remained dormant until eleven in the evening, then jumped off the fence and hid in The inner garden until 1 a.m., and he entered through a side door on the ground floor and looked for items to steal, found the victim's wallet and seized the money inside.

The accused added that he went upstairs to the room of the victim and his wife, as he had previously seen money in it when he came to work in the villa months before the crime was planned. And hurried him with stab wounds in separate places of his body, and the wife woke up and he attacked her, and there was a stampede between them, grabbed her hand and stabbed her twice in the neck and one stab in the chest, and went to the door of the room to escape and was surprised by their eldest daughter, so he stabbed her in the neck one stab and ran away, and threw the knife in a sandy area and walked to the street Dubai Al-Ain, then he called the person who arrived and asked him to come and rode with him, and he was arrested later.

While the victim (an 18-year-old student) reported that she was in her bedroom on the ground floor and heard a distress sound, so she went quickly to her parents' room and used the telephone lamp because the lighting was off on the floor, and while she was walking, she was surprised by the accused leaving the room and stabbed her in the neck and tried to resist him and kicked him, but he fled So she went to her parents' room and saw her father lying on the ground soaked in his blood, as well as her mother on the bed, so she tried to talk to them, but they did not answer her, and her younger sister came and closed the door on them and used her father’s phone to call the police and her father’s friend.

To that, the driver who arrived the accused said that the accused met him near the National Bridge in Sharjah and asked him to drive him to Arabian Ranches, and he took his phone number to call him later, and at five in the morning he called him and came to him at a bridge under construction on the Dubai Al-Ain Road, and he was afraid He had scratches on his neck and was barefoot, so he asked him about what happened to him, and he told him that he had quarreled with some people.

For his part, a member of the forensic investigation team from the Dubai Police stated that the accused planned to commit the crime due to his previous knowledge of the villa, as he participated in maintenance work, pointing out that the tool used in the crime was found in a sandy area 500 meters from the villa.
