  The Kyrgyzstan Election Committee announced on the 21st local time that Kyrgyzstan will resume parliamentary elections on December 20 this year. The preliminary budget for election organization is 456 million soms (about 37.45 million yuan).

  The news also pointed out that the regional chief executive, the mayor of Bishkek, the capital, and the mayor of Osh, a major southern town, should cooperate with the Central Election Committee to prepare for the parliamentary election.

  Earlier, according to Interfax news agency, Kyrgyzstan’s election committee chairman Shayldabekova stated in an interview with the media on the 16th that Kyrgyzstan’s parliamentary elections may be held on December 20.

She also revealed that the presidential election may be held on January 17, 2021.
