The wife of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden stopped in Lower Bucks County Monday evening, urging women to come out and vote for her husband.

Dr. Jill Biden's visit was part of the campaign to persuade women to vote for the Democratic nominee in Pennsylvania County, a place where polls have shown President Donald Trump lagging behind her husband.

Biden, who travels around the country as part of her husband's election campaign to attract the public, said she hears from voters that they want a way to recover from the epidemic, they want nice leaders, and who adhere to their standards.

People "hope for the best," she said.

The university professor told the audience how she married Joe Biden after a terrible accident that claimed the lives of his first wife and daughter, and the injury of his two sons, asking: "How do you make a disjointed and integrated family?"

She said women and mothers know this well, especially as they help take care of their families and work in basic jobs.

She added that her husband, who works in politics, knows what it takes and has confidence in the American people.
