“According to the agreement reached by the parties, within a week, the Ukrainian investigation should receive detailed information on the investigation of criminal proceedings in Iran, in particular, documentary evidence of the detention of six people who are suspected of shooting down the plane,” the press release says.

In addition, Iran must send Ukraine a flight deck of the crew, which is one of the material evidence in the case.

In late July, Tehran agreed to pay compensation after the plane crash.

On January 8, a plane crash occurred in Tehran, which killed 176 people. Iran has admitted that the Iranian air defense system mistakenly shot down a passenger plane of Ukraine International Airlines, mistaking it for a cruise missile.
