On Saturday, both the audience and staff will be able to measure their temperature before they enter Arena Oskarshamn to participate during the match between IK Oskarshamn and Malmö Redhawks.

If the temperature is above 37.5 you are not welcome.

- The individual tests himself under the supervision of staff.

Should it be the case that we get a negative result, we are unfortunately not allowed to let them in, says Martin Åkerberg who is the club manager.

Hope for increased audience

IK Oskarshamn has invested in three fever meters to a total value of SEK 75,000 that will corona-secure the arena and ensure that no one with a fever enters.

Right now they can take in 50 people, but Martin Åkerberg hopes that the new investment can lead to an increase in the number of spectators.

- We hope that more people dare to go to our matches.

Hopefully we will be able to bring in more audiences than we would have had to do otherwise, he says.

The staff helps

To ensure that no one with a negative result on the fever meter still sneaks into the arena, staff are on site.

The staff who check tickets are also responsible for the fever meters.

In the clip you can see how the fever meter works.
