Vinexpo is the high mass of Bordeaux wines.

Created at the initiative of the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the 1980s, it has been exported for several years to New York, Hong Kong and more recently to Shanghai.

This second edition in China is taking place in a particular context, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event is fully digital, with online conferences.

But it is also taking place while the Bordeaux vineyard is going through a serious crisis.

Due to the pandemic of course, American taxes on wine, but also for deeper reasons.

Bad choices have been made in recent years, with overproduction sometimes being preferred to quality.

And Bordeaux has not grasped the organic revolution as much as other French vineyards.
