“Dubai Municipality” violates two institutions and warns 55 for not adhering to the procedures of “Corona”

Dubai Municipality announced that it violated two new institutions, the day before yesterday, for not adhering to the precautionary measures and measures to confront the Corona pandemic, and it warned 55 others, during 2,417 inspection visits carried out by municipality inspectors.

According to the municipality, the percentage of corporate commitment reached 98% of the total number of institutions that were subjected to inspection, of 2360 establishments.

Dubai Municipality stated that its inspection teams carry out periodic visits, and visits based on consumers' reports, to ensure that institutions adhere to the precautionary measures and measures to confront the emerging corona virus, and to food safety, and impose fines according to the local order No. 11 of 2003 regarding public health and community safety in the emirate Dubai, pointing out that the fines vary according to the type of violation, and multiply with frequency.

The municipality stressed the need for all institutions to adhere to the precautionary measures and measures that it imposed to limit the spread of Corona.

The community called for the need to contact the municipality's toll-free number 800900, to report any violations of food safety.

In addition, the field inspection teams of the commercial control and consumer protection sector in the Dubai economy continued their field inspection rounds in various parts of the emirate, as part of their continuous efforts to ensure compliance with the application of precautionary measures and measures aimed at curbing the spread of "Covid-19".

Five different facilities were violated yesterday, including a property brokerage facility, a men's salon, a travel and tourism agent, cosmetics trade, and a sports event authorized by the Dubai Sports Council.

The violations committed were the failure to wear masks by those working in them, and the failure to take the necessary measures to take into account the physical distance.

The sites of the violating establishments were also distributed in the following areas: Nad Rashid, Al Daghaya, Al Barsha, and the First Trade Center.

On the other hand, the inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in the department issued a warning to four other establishments, due to the lack of physical spacing labels as required, while the number of stores that meet the conditions and precautionary measures reached 787.
