At the end of September, a bride appeared in a shallow bay at Styrsö.

The great shark, which is the world's second largest fish species, had run aground.

The Coast Guard and marine biologists, together with the local population, were able to tow the shark back out into sufficiently deep water.

Found outside Vrångö

An eight-meter-long bride has now been found dead in the Gothenburg archipelago, GP reports.

All indications are that it is the same bridge that was saved in September from having run aground outside Styrsö.

Now it has been found outside Vrångö.

- We hoped that it would survive, but unfortunately it turned up now dead, says marine biologist Björn Källström.

A private person must have found the bride on Sunday in the water outside Vrångö, where it may remain.

Björn Källström has taken tissue samples, liver samples and muscle samples on the bride, which will be analyzed for environmental toxins.

- We do not know why it died, We will see if anything emerges from the samples, says Björn Källström.
