According to the Bangkok Post, 39 tourists from China have become them.
Tourists flew to Bangkok from Shanghai, all of them entered the country on a new tourist visa introduced by the Thai authorities.
Before proceeding to their place of rest, they will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine in the capital of the country.
In order to get out of quarantine, tourists will have to pass a negative test for COVID-19 twice.
They will also have to install an application on their phone that will track their movements.
Permits were issued to the first group only for 30 days in the country.
It is noted that the next group of 100 tourists will arrive from Guangzhou, China next week.
