A real beating.

On Monday, a 35-year-old man was sentenced by the Angers court for beating his 17-year-old sister.

The young woman, admitted to the emergency room last week, bore traces all over her body and was in a state of shock, reports the newspaper

Ouest-France

.

The older brother had reproached his sister for the way she dressed, and had not liked seeing her get into a man's car, with a friend.

The man, with a clean criminal record, notably used a belt and a pillow to try to suffocate the young woman.

He was finally sentenced to two years in prison, including ten months closed, with continued detention, says

Ouest-France

.

He was also banned from going to the victim's home and coming into contact with her.
