She and Valter Mutt, also a former MP, write in an editorial in Aftonbladet that they believe that the Left in the future has the potential to "become both wider and greener".
They continue: "In fact, only the Left Party has offered opposition to such things as crazy privatizations, rapprochement with NATO and trade agreements that undermine democracy and threaten the environment."
Last party change was a protest against the agreement the Green Party entered into with the Center Party, the Liberals and the Social Democrats in connection with the formation of the government in January 2019.
