, announced Monday that he has been diagnosed with cancer of the lymphatic system, known as lymphoma, although
with a good prognosis
.
"I have been diagnosed with lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate to have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good," the actor posted on Twitter.
Bridges,
nominated for an Oscar seven times and winning an Oscar for
Crazy Heart
in 2010
, said it will
soon begin its treatment, which will share news.
Then the 70-year-old interpreter took the opportunity to ask people to vote in the US presidential elections, which are held on November 3.
