General Kader Rakhimzadeh noted that the exercises are aimed at increasing combat readiness and strengthening the capabilities of air defense.

Earlier, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Khatami said that after the lifting of the arms embargo, the country expects to export weapons to a greater extent, rather than import them.
