Paris SG, finalist out of the Champions League, began its European campaign by sinking in front of Manchester United (2-1), whose striker Marcus Rashford, already executioner of the Parisians in 2019, repeated at the Parc des Princes in opening of the group stage on Tuesday.

While a goal against his own camp by Anthony Martial (55th) had responded to the opening of the Mancunian score of Bruno Fernandes from the penalty spot (23rd), an impeccable cross strike from Rashford (87th) allowed the Red Devils to s' impose on Paris in Group H, reviving the specter of the "comeback" that the English striker had sealed in the same place in the round of 16 in 2019.
