Instead, he himself stepped into Foodora's Malmö office and applied for a job as a bicycle courier.

For four weeks he delivered food at a furious pace.

During one of the sessions, he completed a marathon on a bicycle.

In torrential rain.

- You are under a terrible time pressure, you have an app that monitors exactly where you are and which also clocks the time all the time, says Dan Ivarsson.

- If you do not cycle fast enough, you risk losing your job.

Many have reacted to Sydsvenskan's review, which was published this weekend.

- Most people who have contacted us say that they have not had a clue about the working conditions that the bicycle bidders have.

Foodora: "Deeply regrettable"

The company also says that it is surprised by the working conditions that prevail at Foodora in Malmö.

- Of course, I see every dissatisfied employee as a setback, says John Denbratt, logistics manager at Foodora Sweden.
